Opioid Policy
The ongoing opioid crisis is one of the largest public health issues facing the United States today. The opioid epidemic has progressed through several distinct waves. Beginning with prescription opioids, it evolved to heroin and then to synthetic opioids. We are now facing a fourth wave of co-occurring stimulant and opioid use.
CALLC brings over two decades of opioid expertise to help our customers alleviate the crisis through all available means, including treatment, prevention, overdose prevention, and criminal justice interventions. We specialize in driving knowledge creation through research, transforming research into practice through TTA, and helping implementers track their performance through evaluation and performance measurement. A sample of our engagements showcases how we apply our deep opioid expertise across our full range of services, with an emphasis on medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD).
